I dedicate this blog to volcanoes and lovely volcanic landscapes. I am not a geologist/volcanologist, just a person who enjoys beautifully rough and majestic volcanic scenery. The feeling of being in such an unpredictable and often dangerous area is certainly distinct and unforgettable. All photos by Bart.K

Nisyros volcano Part II, Greece, 7th June 2015
The entire volcanic complex includes the seafloor between Nisyros and Kos (submerged caldera), the island of Gyali and a part of Kos island (Kefalos Bay, Zini dome and surrounding areas). Nisyros is an astounding volcano that should be monitored closely as it may erupt sooner or later (like Santorini) - last eruption in September 1888.
