I dedicate this blog to volcanoes and lovely volcanic landscapes. I am not a geologist/volcanologist, just a person who enjoys beautifully rough and majestic volcanic scenery. The feeling of being in such an unpredictable and often dangerous area is certainly distinct and unforgettable. All photos by Bart.K

Larderello volcano, Tuscany, Italy 26.04.2018 Part 4
Another portion of photos from Larderello volcano/geothermal area (Sasso Pisano site). Mud pools, fumaroles, mini-geysers and plenty of volcanic gases. I risked quite a bit to see this unique geothermal features from as close distance as possible.
It's always nice to see a group of teenagers with their guardians exploring the volcano - they are potential future geologists or volcanologists. Science is the most important thing on Earth.
