Lipari Island, Italy, 6.05.2015

Lipari Island is the largest volcanic island of the Eolian Archipelago and it features small stratovolcanoes, lava domes, obsidian lava flows and large deposits of pumice and obsidian. The last eruption on Lipari occured probably in 729 AD from Monte Pilatus. It's also legendary refuge of Aeolus, the god of the winds. I particularly enjoyed narrow alleys of Lipari, azure color of Tyrrhenian Sea and beautiful coastal cliffs of Lipari.
