I dedicate this blog to volcanoes and lovely volcanic landscapes. I am not a geologist/volcanologist, just a person who enjoys beautifully rough and majestic volcanic scenery. The feeling of being in such an unpredictable and often dangerous area is certainly distinct and unforgettable. All photos by Bart.K

Green Lake of El Golfo and Los Hervideros, Lanzarote
Emerald green lagoon El Golfo (Charco de Los Clicos) is a must-see. As are frenzied waves crashing mercilessly into rocky lava formations of Los Hervideros. Italy tomorrow.
