I dedicate this blog to volcanoes and lovely volcanic landscapes. I am not a geologist/volcanologist, just a person who enjoys beautifully rough and majestic volcanic scenery. The feeling of being in such an unpredictable and often dangerous area is certainly distinct and unforgettable. All photos by Bart.K

Rauðhólar aka Red Hills, Iceland
Remnants of pseudocraters in Elliðaárhraun lava fields near Reykjavik. Age: 5200 years. Very peaceful and colorful place.
