I dedicate this blog to volcanoes and lovely volcanic landscapes. I am not a geologist/volcanologist, just a person who enjoys beautifully rough and majestic volcanic scenery. The feeling of being in such an unpredictable and often dangerous area is certainly distinct and unforgettable. All photos by Bart.K

Hekla volcano climb Part II, Iceland
Closer and closer to the summit (1491 m) of the Hekla, the most powerful volcano of Iceland. A cloak with no hood or arms. The entrance to Hell or even Hell itself. The first and last photos of me were taken by Slawek.
