I dedicate this blog to volcanoes and lovely volcanic landscapes. I am not a geologist/volcanologist, just a person who enjoys beautifully rough and majestic volcanic scenery. The feeling of being in such an unpredictable and often dangerous area is certainly distinct and unforgettable. All photos by Bart.K

Impressive crater of Caldera Blanca
...and dead goat on the rim. Pretty shocking and smelly surprise. 24.05.2012. But what a view of Timanfaya volcanoes!
