I dedicate this blog to volcanoes and lovely volcanic landscapes. I am not a geologist/volcanologist, just a person who enjoys beautifully rough and majestic volcanic scenery. The feeling of being in such an unpredictable and often dangerous area is certainly distinct and unforgettable. All photos by Bart.K

Hekla volcano summit reached, Iceland
The weather was exceptionally sunny and the ground was warm. We climbed Hekla volcano on 26th April 2014.
